Outback Golf Society - On Tour in Vietnam

The week of 21-28 Oct is expected to be a very emotional period for our Thai friends with the formal burial of their beloved King and the government have announced significant holiday plans over this period. This may include the ban of alcohol sales, public holiday rates at golf courses around Pattaya and result in a significant reduction in our usual habits as tee ruk's return to their home to be with family and friends.

Since we had to cancel our previous trip to Da Nang due to the high flight cost in April, and not wanting to risk cancelling the tour again because of high flight costs, I have own my own accord proceeded and group booked and paid the first 16 seats leaving Bangkok on Saturday 21 Oct to Da Nang and return on 28th Oct at the current rate and lower than what will soon be publicly available. Those that sign up later may need to pay a higher price for the flights and the hotel, since I paid already what I would think is a "safe" number for this tour size to the airline and hotel in order to secure the prices for the "early birds". As part of the package, we will be staying for 7 nights at the superb Hoi An Silk Boutique hotel (could find cheaper and smaller hotels sure, but making the effort to get there, I like to go higher quality in a good location).

TOUR Description:

We depart Saturday morning 21 Oct from the Outback to Don Muang airport  where we will be taking our flights to the city of Da Nang in Vietnam. We will transfer from the airport to The Hoi An Silk boutique hotel near the center of Hoi An, and within short walking distance from all the bars and restaurants in the area. 

Sunday will be a day off to find a favorite water hole, get to explore the area and relax. On Monday 23rd Oct, we will be playing the much spoken about Ba Na Hills course, and we will play this course for the 2nd time on Friday 27th Oct. On Tue 24 Oct, we will be playing the Greg Norman Da Nang championship course and Thursday 26th the fabulous Montgomerie course. On Wednesday, we have a day off to rest the tired bones and enjoy a day out in Hoi An.
