Hooters Golf Group in Thailand: How to join

The Hooters Golf Group has been running since 2016 and has grown into one of the largest golf groups in Thailand with over 750 members. The events are played on the first Saturday of each month as well some special events throughout the year.

There is a 1000 baht joining fee but you get a polo shirt included in the membership as well as a 15% discount at all Hooters venues throughout Thailand. Once affiliated you can play in as many or as few events as you like.

Who can join the Hooters Golf Group in Thailand?

The series is open to golfers of all abilities, you can sign up in a group or as an individual. Most guys who play in these events are expats from Bangkok and Pattaya. The events always take place at the weekends so great for the working golfer.

You will be required to have a golf handicap if you wish to compete for the prizes on any competition day. If you don't have a handicap you can still join.

They have a great mix of nationalities in their group with players from all over the world.

Back in 1983 in Clearwater, Florida, six businessmen with no restaurant experience whatsoever got together to open a place they couldn’t get kicked out of. True story.

More than three decades later, the Hooters brand has grown into an international sensation, with more than 420 Hooters in 29 countries.

Hooters came in Thailand recently with locations in Bangkok and Pattaya. After the round everyone heads back the restaurant for more beers and to see who the winners on the day were.
